Deconning LNG: Exposing the fuel for war and climate destruction

Shell is hosting an international conference for the liquified gas industry 'LNGCON2025' from March 10 until March 12. At this conference Shell and the other fossil con-artists are developing greenwash stories to make us believe liquified gas is the bridge to a green future. But, liquified gas fuels war, genocide and climate destruction.

Therefore, we organise a counter-summit deconning LNG. The counter-summit will focus on the link between liquified fossil gas, war, and climate destruction. In the workshops, we dive into the nature of gas and war. The documentaries will show how gas is impacting frontline communities, from Palestine to the US. They function as a tacit reminder of why we are in this fight. Furthermore, we will discuss how to fight the gas industry!

We welcome everyone who is angry about the fossil fuel industry and would like to counter their latest tricks. You are welcome whether you are new to the climate movement or have been involved for a longer time.

The programme includes time for lunch (at 12:45) and dinner (at 18:00). All food will be vegan! Please let us know if you are joining so we don't have to waste any food.
